Dalateatern is a regional theatre foundation with the purpose to play professional theatre in Dalarna, for adults as well as children
The financing comes from County Council of Dalarna.(Landstinget Dalarna) and the Swedish National Council for Cultural Affairs (Statens Kulturråd).
Dalateatern has performances mainly in Falun, but also in other places, bigger or smaller, in Dalarna.
Dalateatern performs also theatre for all schoolchildren in Dalarna, all with good pedagogical purpose and workshops.
